The last time I had on makeup was back in 1999.

I was headed to the prom.

And I felt like a drag queen.

Since then the most I’ll throw on is some lip glass from MAC.

Last week, I had the opportunity to be on BET’s new show, ‘Don’t Sleep’
hosted by TJ Holmes. And it was the second time in my life that I’ve ever
worn makeup!

Red Lip. Smokey Eye. Lashes. Oh my!

I was SOOOO outside of my comfort zone!!!

The huge steps that I’ve made to get what I want in life haven’t been easy.

My growth has been painful. Frustrating. Uncomfortable.

But above all, it’s been worth it!

If you’re afraid of taking the next step into the unknown…

If you’re afraid to do what hasn’t been done…

If you’re afraid to blossom into what God called you to be…

Just remember…everything worth having is right outside your comfort zone!
